Venezuela

Hewlett Packard have sponsored us before on climbing trips to Tibet and Nepal. This time, they sent us to the depths of the Venezuelan Gran Sabana close to the border of Brazil. We transported our gear in three Cessna’s to the remote Indian village of Yunek, in the Chimanta Massif, where there are no roads. We stayed in hammocks with the Pemon Tribe, washing in the river. We even managed to test some of the HP equipment in the humid rainforest nearby. It was an experience that I shall never forget!
