Tom’s talk – which included brilliant photography and enthralling video footage of their expedition –  had the boys, staff and parents hanging on his every word. While Tom touched on the importance of perseverance and goal-setting, the talk was all the more well received for its simplicity – a story, modestly told, of two brothers fulfilling a long-held dream to conquer the world’s highest mountain.
